Attribute Manager

Hiding a file or folder or marking the item as read-only is not difficult, but you may want to change other attributes as well. If you try Attribute Manager, you will notice that it provides two advantages. First, it allows you to view and modify any attributes. The second advantage is the fact that you can change the attributes of multiple files or folders, in a single run, without bringing up countless Properties windows.

The software is available in various languages and it provides support for all popular Windows platforms. The installation package is roughly 1.1 MB and it takes a few seconds to install the application's components. There are no special requirements to meet, so you can run it right away.

Attribute Manager allows you to explore your files and folders just like on a standard explorer window. Besides selecting folders, in a tree menu, on the left side of the interface and viewing their contents on the right side, you can make a wide range of changes for the selected files or folders. You can change their attributes, select different dates and times or increment them, on separate tabs, above the files list.

You may enable or disable various attributes, such as read-only, archive, hidden, indexed, compressed and more. The selected attributes can be applied to files and folders separately, with different options, located on a toolbar. When it comes to changing times and dates, you can either select different ones or you can increment them. It is also possible to create date and time masks. You can choose to update or ignore days, months, years, hours, minutes and seconds separately.

You can save your personal settings as a template, at any time. You just need to name your template, on a separate window, and click a button to save it. Templates can be loaded and managed on separate, but similar windows.
